Welcome to TTF! If you're reading this thread then you're probably a newbie trying to join us. If you take a look below you'll find some handy links to some stuff we think you should read. And below that we have some setting information and commonly asked questions. This second section is a must read!

TTF is an AU Teen Titans RP based after the end of the TV series, and before the movie. We love both Canons and Originals. For continuity's sake, all OCs and any Canons that were not shown on the TV show must join TTF as having just (or just about to) move to Jump City. Please check the Plot for timeline information, or PM an Admin if you want more information about how your character could fit in.

To avoid the dreaded "booyah" syndrome, your 1st character must be an OC. If you want a Canon, you may apply for them as your 2nd character. Staff reserve the right to deny your Canon app (even if it is up to site standard) if we feel you won't RP the character well enough.

To apply for your 2nd character, a month must have passed since your 1st character was approved, and you need a post count of 50. For each additional character you wish to make, another month must pass between each, and all your current characters need a post count of 50. PM an Admin if you have any questions, or believe you have a good argument as to why you might be exempt from the rule.

Our plot will be made entirely by the members. You create the heroes, you create the bad guys, and you decide who dies and how. Occasionally Staff will give the plot some direction, or move the world along. However, for the most part, you guys are in control. Obviously we'll step in if you get too far off track, but until that point, go nuts!

We are a Teen Titans site. Whilst the Justice League exists, it will not directly be involved in the RP. It is fine for Robin to reminisce about his childhood with Batman, but Batman wont turn up to save him from a falling falafel whilst he's daydreaming about the past.

We welcome characters from Young Justice on TTF, however Young Justice itself does not exist. The only hero teams in our universe are the Justice League and the Teen Titans. Meaning characters like Wonder Girl and Miss Martian would both of been side kicks to League members, then joined the Teen Titans if they wanted to join a hero team.

The Tagbox at the base of the home page is for updates only. e.g. tagging a member or character in a thread you've created or replied too, tagging Staff to let them know your app is finished or edited, or tagging everyone to get people to join your open thread. Please use the larger Chatbox at the bottom of every page for general OOC chat.

We have 4 member groups your character can choose from. Teen Titan and Villain are fairly self explanatory. The Vigilante group is for characters actively using their powers for either good or bad, that don't identify with the major groups. e.g. they might be an anti-hero who hates the restriction of working in a team, or a street kid that uses their powers for thieving but aren't really super villain material. The Civilian group is for humans, but also for characters with powers. If your metahuman has elected not to use their powers to combat crime, nor to revel in it, then they would just be a simple citizen. That's not to say they can't use their powers, just that they don't put on spandex and actively seek out trouble.
